About Us

Methodology Insight (MI) was established in 2024 by the International Society for Methodology of Humanities & Social Sciences. It is published by Schole PLC. MI is an open access journal, which is published quarterly. This journal follows a strict double-blind review process. MI focuses on ontology and application research of methodology. We are committed to building a global forum for  method innovation, critique, and application. Its aims and scope include but not limited to the following: methodological innovation; optimization of traditional research methods；interdisciplinary methodological research; research methodological controversies; and application of research methods in various disciplines.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from researchers and professionals with:

  • A Ph.D. or equivalent experience in a relevant field (exceptions may apply for early-career researchers).

  • A strong publication record or demonstrated expertise in methodology.

  • Prior peer-review experience (preferred but not mandatory for early-career researchers).
